U2 Eucharist worship is not currently scheduled.
Offering seven U2 Eucharists has been a mountaintop worship experience for us. We will never forget Archer Logan playing One on the saxophone as he walked the center aisle, as well as his sax improvisation within the proclamation of the Word. The Sensations Show Choir left us with an unrepeatable experience, spontaneously drawing us to the chancel—up and close to the beat of eight African drums. It was a bit like a rock concert mosh pit, but more gentle (see photo below). Receiving communion at five stations in the sanctuary—as we listened to U2's Grace—was each time a moment so spirit-filled that many were moved to tears. We had inspirational guest speakers—Rev. Heidi McGinness, Dr. Clarice Ford, Dr. Wesley McNeese, and even a surprise visit from the prophet Amos. Our visual senses were stirred by candlelight, slide shows with photos from Sudan, and benedictions at dusk on the church steps. We can never fully express our appreciation to everyone who contributed time, special food, and especially the generous donations that have gone to alleviate extreme world poverty: over $12,000 has gone directly to Darfur and Haiti.
More than experiencing a new worship style, the U2 Eucharist has helped to define for us the concept of emerging worship — fresh ways to listen for God: this encounter has helped us to create new opportunities for worship in our ongoing Emerging Worship Ministry. Not to abandon the Spirit's leading through U2, you will hear the song Grace in Sunday worship once in a while. . . And, hey, we have made some reallly wonderful memories together!

Join us for a community-wide communion service
— featuring the recorded music of U2.
In addition to the strong spiritual imagery of U2's recorded music, live musicians will lead us in worship. The Word will be proclaimed, and we will share communion together at Christ's open table. And, breads from around the world will be served in a community reception.
The entire evening collection will go to purchase aid for Haiti and Darfur. Your presence will literally save human lives!
Many lives have been saved through the $14,000 you have given.
And, we can join together to keep doing more!
Extreme poverty kills.
